Ambassador L. Purevsuren presents letter of credence to the President of the Swiss Confederation

On June 19, Mongolian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary L. Purevsuren presented his letter of credence to President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset. After the presentation ceremony, President Berset received Ambassador Purevsuren and congratulated him on his appointment.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on maintaining the frequency of state visits and organizing consultative meetings for the Swiss and Mongolian ministers of foreign affairs. Mongolia established diplomatic relations with Switzerland in 1964.

Within the scope of bilateral development cooperation, Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation will be implementing projects in Mongolian in three main areas through 2021: agriculture and food safety, technical and vocational training, and good governance.         ​
