Transformation
In the midst of countless transformations—technological, ecological, and psychological—that unfold continuously, both visibly and invisibly, we search for our identities. This journey involves repeatedly losing and finding ourselves, creating an ongoing struggle to understand our existence. This reflects the nature of our current lives. XAOS 2025 does not view transformation as a distant concept or mere idea; rather, it sees it as a guiding force that leads us toward the essence of our being. This force shapes us, influences our societies, and impacts the environments we inhabit.
Artificial intelligence is evolving more rapidly than we can understand, and ecosystems are changing in ways that fundamentally alter human life. Identity shifts and transforms through migration, memory, and digital reflection. For this reason, the festival uses art to raise questions about transformation in the contemporary world, exploring its nature, influences, and our place within it.

Art embodies transformation, harnessing the power to inspire change through sounds, rhythms, colors, space, substances, and symbols. It engages the audience by posing thoughtful questions and guiding them on an unexpected journey. The name XAOS (chaos) captures the essence of transformation. And each exhibition presented by XAOS serves as a laboratory that invites the audience to experience this transformation. These changes manifest through music, light, imagery, and poetry, characterized by their delicate yet sudden nature, vibrant energy, and the ability to resonate on both personal and collective levels.
Transformation is a constant movement, a poetic rhythm characterized by ongoing change. It is never neutral or still. This profound concept carries rich implications in terms of ethics, social significance, and responsibility.
From an environmental perspective, it reminds us to care for a damaged ecosystem and to adapt to changing conditions. On a social level, it encourages communities to embrace their differences and renew their cultures without losing their historical memory. On a personal level, transformation prompts us to confront our fragility, as every change requires letting go of one form in order to embrace another.
For XAOS 2025, transformation is not merely a phenomenon or process; it is a delicate and lyrical act of becoming. Through sound, image, and word, each work invites us into a moment where nothing is fixed, yet everything remains possible. XAOS 2025 is a gathering of transformations, and participating in it is, in itself, a transformative experience.
