On May 12, 2025, J.Bayarmaa, the Member of the Parliament of Mongolia, who also serves as a member of the Mongolia–European Union Parliamentary Relations Group, met Ina Marčiulionytė, Ambassador of the European Union to Mongolia.
During the meeting, MP J.Bayarmaa emphasized Mongolia’s goal of developing effective and mutually beneficial cooperation with the European Union and its member states across all socio-economic sectors, within the framework of its Third Neighbor policy.
She highlighted the EU’s consistent support for Mongolia’s democratic transition and socio-economic reforms, noting that the partnership between the two sides continues to expand.

Ambassador Marčiulionytė remarked that EU–Mongolia relations are built on shared values such as democracy, human rights, and the rule of law. She reaffirmed the EU’s commitment to supporting human rights and freedom of expression in Mongolia.
The Ambassador also provided information about the upcoming EU–Mongolia Business and Investment Forum, which will take place in Ulaanbaatar on October 13–14, 2025.
At the conclusion of the meeting, MP J.Bayarmaa expressed her hope for continued cooperation with the European Union in strengthening democracy and advancing human rights, freedom of speech, expression, and the press.
