President U.Khurelsukh meets Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at COP29

U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, met with Ilham Aliyev, the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, on the opening day of the 29th United Nations Climate Change Conference COP29, held in Baku, Azerbaijan.

President U.Khurelsukh congratulated Azerbaijan on successfully organizing this significant UN event and extended his wishes for its success.

The two Presidents discussed the growing political ties between Mongolia and Azerbaijan and emphasized the importance of expanding cooperation in areas of mutual interest. They agreed to initiate high-level visits in the near future to establish a stronger foundation for their partnership.

The discussion also covered opportunities to enhance economic cooperation and investment, with a focus on sectors such as agriculture, transport, logistics, and education.
