No ethical reason to head the Mongolian Olympic Committee

We have been reporting on the call of the Mongolian Sports Associations to D.Zagdsuren to resign from the post of the President of the Mongolian Olympic Committee.

Today Mongolian Sports Association led by President of Wrestling Federation of Mongolian D.Dagvadorj held press conference and made announcements related to the open letter to the President of Mongolia Ts.Elbegdorj.

The open letter criticized that current Presidency by D.Zagdsuren at Mongolian Olympic Committee is violating the Rules and Ethics of the International Olympic Committee, mentioning that D.Zagdsuren was convicted on 27th of January 2014 to deprive his rights to work as President of Mongolian Olympic commitee for two years and three imprisonment.

But was freed from imprisonment with Amnesty Law.

Although Mongolian Sports Associations called for his resignation D.Zagdsuren ignored and continues to work on his duties. Therefore, Sports Associations are applealing to the Internaitonal Olympic Committee further.

Mongolian Olympic Committee management lacks ethics, no reporting on financial matters and implementation of the foreign funded activities.

Sports Associations consider these ethical and financial violations as potential threat to get Mongolian Olympic Committee to be banned from the International Olympic Commitee and possible ban of Mongolian athletes in the international competitions.

Therefore the Sports Associations are calling President Ts.Elbegdorj on fair judging and resolve the issues.
