A total of USD 60 million will be allocated for tunnel road construction. At the current exchange rate of MNT 3,569 per US dollar set by the Bank of Mongolia, this amounts to approximately MNT 214 billion. The source of financing has already been determined.
Tunnel roads are being constructed under the railway at several locations in Ulaanbaatar to allow road traffic to pass without crossing railway lines. Land clearance has already been carried out in preparation for the project.
The planned locations are:
- The tunnel road in front of Hermes Center
- Tavan shar railway crossing
- Central geological laboratory intersection
- Narnii Road
- Ikh Khuree street
