On September 30, 2024, To Lam, President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Communist Party, arrived in Mongolia for a state visit at the invitation of Khurelsukh Ukhnaa, the President of Mongolia.
Upon his arrival at Chinggis Khan International Airport, President To Lam and his delegation were welcomed by B.Battsetseg, Mongolia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, J.Sereejav, Mongolian Ambassador to Vietnam, and Nguyen Duan Thanh, Vietnamese Ambassador to Mongolia, along with other officials.
This state visit coincides with the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Vietnam. During the visit, the two heads of state are expected to hold official talks and sign cooperation agreements aimed at strengthening the legal framework of bilateral relations.
Additionally, President To Lam will meet with D.Amarbayasgalan, Speaker of the Parliament, and L.Oyun-Erdene, Prime Minister, to exchange views on a range of topics, focusing on expanding and deepening cooperation between the two nations.
