The official meeting between the President of Mongolia, U. Khurelsukh, and the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, took place in Ulaanbaatar.
President Tokayev was formally welcomed at Sukhbaatar Square, where both presidents paid their respects at the statue of Chinggis Khaan. Following this, President Tokayev signed the State Guestbook at the State Palace.
During the discussions, both parties reviewed their 30-year history of friendly relations and discussed advancing traditional ties to a new level, exploring opportunities to expand economic cooperation. They also exchanged views on deepening their cooperation on regional and international platforms.
The two heads of state are scheduled to brief media representatives on the outcomes of their official talks.
