Canadian, Iranian ambassadors present credentials to President U.Khurelsukh

The newly appointed Ambassadors of Canada and Iran presented their credentials to U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia.

In his meeting with Canadian Ambassador Stephen Doust, the President underscored that Mongolia attaches great importance to its partnership with Canada, a key “third neighbor” in North America. He highlighted that bilateral relations are currently developing at the level of a comprehensive partnership.

Ambassador Doust conveyed greetings from Governor General of Canada Mary Simon and expressed his commitment to further expand cooperation in all fields and elevate the partnership to a new stage. Mongolia and Canada established diplomatic relations on November 30, 1973.
President U.Khurelsukh also welcomed Iranian Ambassador Mohsen Bakhtiar, congratulating him on his appointment and wishing him success in his mission.

He expressed confidence that the Ambassador will work to strengthen relations and assured him of the Mongolian government’s full support. Ambassador Bakhtiar reaffirmed Iran’s commitment to deepening relations and expanding cooperation with Mongolia.
