G.Bolor-Erdene won gold medal from “Hangzhou 2022” Asian Para Games

The 4th edition of the Asian Para Games is on its fourth day in Hangzhou, China. On October 24, Bolor-Erdene Ganbat, State Honored Athlete of Mongolia, won the gold medal in the men's 63 kg taekwondo category and the national anthem of Mongolia was played.

G.Bolor-Erdene became the first Mongolian taekwondo player to win the gold medal of the Asian Para Games by defeating the Iranian athlete by score 6:2 in the final. In the category he competed in, an Iranian athlete won a silver medal, while Thai and Uzbekistan athletes took bronze medals. 

Three days after the Asian Games, the Mongolian team has only one gold and one silver medal in the taekwondo category. G.Bolor-Erdene is a five time world champion in para-taekwondo and a five time gold medalist of the Asian Championships.
