Prime Minister N.Uchral’s selected Ministers took oath

On April 3, during the session of the Parliament, Prime Minister N.Uchral delivered a speech on the new government lineup.

He said that when appointing ministers, he considered their professional skills, ethics, and ability to take responsibility, and then introduced the members of his cabinet.

The ministers are as follows:

  • First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Development- J.Enkhbayar
  • Deputy Prime Minister and Head of the National Emergency Commission- N.Nomtoibayar
  • Deputy Prime Minister- T.Dorjkhand
  • Chief Cabinet Secretary- B.Enkhbayar
  • Minister of Foreign Affairs- B.Battsetseg
  • Minister of Finance- Z.Mendsaikhan
  • Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs- S.Amarsaikhan
  • Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources- G.Damdinnyam
  • Minister of Defense- D.Batlut
  • Minister of Environment and Climate Change- T.Sandag-Ochir
  • Minister of Education- L.Enkh-Amgalan
  • Minister of Family, Labor and Social Protection- T.Aubakir
  • Minister of Roads and Transport- B.Delgersaikhan
  • Minister of Culture, Sports, Tourism and Youth- J.Aldarjavhlan
  • Minister of Urban Development, Construction and Housing- E.Bat-Amgalan
  • Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry- Ts.Iderbat
  • Minister of Digital Development, Innovation and Communications- Ch.Nomin

Prime Minister N. Uchral said 11 new ministers have been appointed, while 8 ministers from the cabinet of G.Zandanshatar will remain in office. He also noted that the MPP parliamentary group has split into two, and the “Group of 30,” including former Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene and former Speaker D.Amarbayasgalan, has been allocated five ministerial posts.

S.Amarsaikhan, Ts.Sandag-Ochir, Ts.Iderbat, J.Aldarjavkhlan, and Ch.Nomin were appointed to ministerial positions from the Group of 30.

Two ministers from the HUN Party and one minister from the National Coalition will serve in N.Uchral’s government. Some former ministers have been reassigned to lead other sectors. B.Enkhbayar, who served as Minister of Justice and Internal Affairs, will head the Cabinet Secretariat, while E.Batshugar, who was Minister of Digital Development, will serve as Minister of Health.
