According to the invitation of B.Battsetseg, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, senior and mid-level management officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan visited Mongolia on July 27-30 as part of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Japan.
Both sides agreed on designating 2022 as the “Mongolian-Japanese Youth Friendship and Exchange Year”, exchanging the best young people representing politics, business, civil service, culture and art, and implementing a plan to celebrate the anniversary together.
This program has been implemented since 1998 by Mongolia’s initiative, and senior and mid-level management officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan visit Mongolia and meet the foreign policy and culture of Mongolia.
During their visit, the senior and mid-level management officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan held a friendly meeting with the diplomatic staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, and exchanged ideas on the development of relations and cooperation between the two countries in the next 50 years.
