The National Naadam Festival has officially begun, commemorating the 2234th anniversary of the Founding of the First Statehood, the 819th anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, the 114th anniversary of the National Liberation and Restoration of Independence, and the 104th anniversary of the People's Revolution.
This year’s Naadam opening ceremony is being held under the theme “Eternally Radiant Mongolia.” More than 2,500 artists from across the country are actively participating in the event.
The artistic performance of the opening ceremony will be re-broadcast today, July 11, at 21:00.
This year's show is being presented as a modern artistic performance, incorporating automated stage elements, digital screens, lighting, visuals, and musical arrangements. It offers the audience a new and creative perspective on Mongolia’s history, culture, and values.
In addition, Their Majesties Emperor Naruhito and Empress Masako of Japan are attending the opening ceremony as guests of honor.
