Rio 2016 Olympic champion and Japanese judoka Mashu Beika has arrived in Mongolia at the invitation of N.Batsuuri, International master of Judo and State Honored Athlete, to lead a seven-day training for children and youth judokas from Uvs province.
Organised in cooperation with the Mongolian Judo Federation, the training will focus on sharing techniques, competition experience and training methods drawn from Olympic and world-stage practice. Coaches and athletes expect the sessions to help local judokas improve technical skills, tactical awareness and physical preparation.
The Mongolian Judo Federation described the event as an important opportunity to raise training standards in Uvs and to bring young athletes closer to international levels of competition.
