Starting from August 20, substations Mandal, Tavantolgoi and Oyutolgoi were connected to power, and Oyutolgoi started receiving some part of its power from Mongolia. It has been importing electricity from the power system of China's Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region.
In the framework of supplying power from Mongolia, three substations and an electricity transmission line of 220 kV were built.
The electrical equipment is being put into operation in accordance with the design. The scheme to supply Oyutolgoi by power can supply up to a total of 40 MW, depending on the production of the sources, and the mine currently uses 1% of its consumption, or 1.3 MW, from the central region's integrated system.
