-Does everyone who applies to universities have to pass the Mongolian Language and Script test?
-Yes. According to the Government resolution of last year every applicant for higher education is entitled to pass the Mongolian Language and Script exam. The minimum qualifying points for this test is 400 and enables the applicant to apply to universities. This exam will start nationwide on March 21st.
In view of those regulations, exam committee has been established of specialists to work in rural areas. If one cannot pass the exam the re-take will be on March 25th.
-How many applicants have registered for the Mongolian exams?
-25,813 have registered to have the exam.
-How many students are graduating secondary schools this year?
-This year compared to previous year there are 19,293 students. On top of that there are 6,520 from last year as well.
-How many applicants have registered for the general entrance exam?
-Over 8000 have applied. Currently most of the graduating students are focused more on the Mongolian Language and Script exams. After the results of the qualifying exams registration for the general entrance exams might activate, as those exams are scheduled to start from June 15th.
