The state visit of President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam and General Secretary of the Party, To Lam, who arrived at the invitation of U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, has concluded.
During the visit, the two heads of state held one-on-one meetings and official talks, where they discussed bilateral cooperation, as well as collaboration at both regional and international levels.
Mongolia became the first country in Southeast Asia to establish a "Comprehensive Partnership" with Vietnam. Several agreements and cooperation documents were signed to strengthen the relationship between the two nations.
Both countries reaffirmed their commitment to expanding and developing mutually beneficial cooperation across various sectors.
As part of the visit, the two sides jointly organized a "Cultural Day" to celebrate the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations. Additionally, President To Lam met with representatives of Mongolian enterprises and business leaders.
This visit serves as a reciprocal event to President U.Khurelsukh's state visit to Vietnam in 2023.
