13,000 Mongolian Citizens Residing and Working in the Kingdom of Sweden

On September 17, 2024, Secretary of State L.Munkhtushig held a meeting with Daniel Wolven, Head of the Asia, Pacific, and Latin America Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Sweden.

During the meeting, Secretary of State L.Munkhtushig highlighted that the political consultation between the Ministries of Foreign Affairs is a vital mechanism for strengthening bilateral relations and cooperation. He also expressed best wishes for the success of the upcoming Political Consultation Meeting between Mongolia and Sweden.

L.Munkhtushig acknowledged the significance of 2024, marking the 60th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two nations. He praised the cultural events being held in Ulaanbaatar and Stockholm to commemorate the occasion.

In addition, L.Munkhtushig expressed gratitude for the 13,000 Mongolian citizens residing and working in Sweden, emphasizing the importance of protecting their legitimate interests through an intergovernmental agreement.
