Under Bayankhongor Province Governor’s Decree No. A/478, dated August 21, 2026, permits to capture peregrine falcons in Bumbugur, Khureemaral, and Bayanbulag soums have been revoked.
As part of the implementation of the decree, foreign nationals from countries including Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Syria, and Iran who had entered into contracts to capture peregrine falcons were expelled from the territory of Bayankhongor province.
