At today’s cabinet meeting, N.Uchral, Minister for Digital Development and Communications, presented the plan to move organizations operating in the field of innovation and technology to Buyant-Ukhaa Airport building.
Some part of the Buyant-Ukhaa airport building will be turned into an information, communication and innovation center. At first, the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications will move to Buyant-Ukhaa with its affiliated institutions.
D.Amarbayasgalan, Chief Cabinet Secretary, said “MNT 10 billion is required for the airport building per year. In order to make full use of such an object, it was decided to move the Ministry of Digital Development and Communications along with its affiliated institutions to Buyant-Ukhaa airport”.
11,000 square meters of Buyant-Ukhaa Airport building with total area of 21,000 square meters will be used as a reserve airport.
