During the general session of the Mongolian Parliament, the delegation led by the Vice President of Laos, Mrs. Pany Yathotou, was introduced to the ongoing activities of the Parliament.
D. Amarbayasgalan, Speaker of the Parliament, welcomed the distinguished guests, congratulating them on the successful friendship and cooperation between Mongolia and Laos.
In 2003, Laos gifted the Meeting Hall of the Mongolian Parliament with tables and chairs. With the number of Parliament members increasing to 126 in 2024 following amendments to the Constitution of Mongolia, Laos has once again shown its support by presenting 50 red wooden tables and chairs.
The Speaker also highlighted that, as part of the enduring friendship between the two countries, the Parliament of Mongolia gifted a wool carpet to the Laos Parliament Hall in November, 2023.
