Small ice town, consisting of ice sculptures and skating ground is opening on the west side of Sky Hypermarket, on the ice of Selbe river in Bayanzurkh District, starting from 15th December.
The ice sculptures will officially be lit tomorrow evening. There are 20 international award winning ice sculptures on display, with themes of Winter olympics, as well as a service house for warm drinks and ice skate rental.
Also, there’re two slides for adults (70x24) and children (30x19). Ulaanbaatar City officials state that children and youth can spend their free times on the rink and enjoy skating.
The winter vacation of elementary school is from 29th of December to 12th of January 2018. Pediatricians urge that during the peak hours of air pollution, especially in the morning and evening, children, elders and people with cardiac and lung diseases need to refrain from staying outside.
