Mongolia ranks top at gender equality in chess

Mongolia ranks first place in terms of gender equality in chess among 105 countries. By calculating the percentage of players participating in the continental and world championships under the age of 18 and 20, Mongolians took the first place with an index of 86.53.

40 percent of chess players in Mongolia are women. Prizes for male and female chess players are the same in Mongolian domestic tournaments. Furthermore, FIDE announced 2022 as the year of female chess players, and the research report that the good work of the Mongolian Chess Federation had influenced well.
