Ch.Mungundalai cycling Eastern aimags tours 609km from UB

We met with Ch.Mungundalai member of Young Cyclist Club with hearing and speech disability at Dadal soum of Khentii aimag. He aims to travel around Mongolia on bicycle and already covered 609km from UB city so far.

He plans to do 5000 km travel in following destinations including Eastern eight aimags until November, 2015 on bicycle:

  • Tuv
  • Khentii
  • Dornod
  • Sukhbaatar
  • Dornogbi
  • Dundgobi
  • Umnugobi
  • Gobisumber

In detail:

  • Three districts nearby UB city including Nalaikh, Baganuur and Bagakhangai
  • Over 60 soums and villages

I am very proud of him cycling alone in this vast territory, which is not easily done even by a car trip. He loaded necessary items for consumption in a trailer and left UB city on July 10th and has crossed over 609 km.

Previously, Ch.Mungundalai did 6200 km cycling journey for 167 days and passed 210 soums of 13 aimags.

After he completes his current journey it will be recorded as a historical event as it will be the first bicycle cross country tour by a person with disabilities.
