At the first session of the People's Representative Council of the Capital City, Nyambaatar Khishgee was nominated by the MPP group in the City Council to be the Governor of the Capital City and the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar City. The majority of the representatives who participated in the meeting supported the election of Kh.Nyambaatar as the Governor of the Capital. The decision of the first session of the People's Representative Council of the Capital City and related documents will be forwarded to the Prime Minister of Mongolia for approval.
On this occasion, Kh.Nyambaatar, the Governor of the Capital City and the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar City, said, "The next four years will be years of great construction and rapid development for the citizens of the capital. The 2024-2028 action program for the Capital's Governor and Ulaanbaatar's Mayor aligns with the agenda proposed by the Mongolian People's Party Committee for the 2024 election of the People's Representative Council of the Capital City.
In accordance with the Government's 2024-2028 action program and the general development plan of Ulaanbaatar city 2040, these plans aim to improve the capital's population, social and economic growth, environmental balance, and governance. The development strategy will be integrated, comprehensive, interconnected, non-duplicative, and accessible to all, ensuring public participation".
