Deputy Prime Minister visits Zamiin-Uud Free-trade Zone

Deputy Prime Minister U. Enkhtuvshin visited the Zamiin-Uud Free-trade Zone in Zamiin-Uud soum, Dornogobi Province to review its operations.

He noted, “Investment and financing of 58.8 million MNT have been made for the Zamiin-Uud Free-trade Zone. The first phase of a project to enhance infrastructure at the zone has been achieved. Now, it is time to open the free-trade zone.”

He emphasized that the Law on Customs and Law on Free-trade Zones tends to be violated at free-trade zones. The Deputy Prime Minister said, “A working group consisting of officials from the Mongolian Customs Agency, General Department of Taxation, Ministry of Construction and Urban Development, and Ministry of Foreign Affairs will pay attention to regulations at the free-trade zone.”
