Speaker of the Parliament met chess players and played with Chess Olympiad Champion B.Mungunzul

Today, G.Zandanshatar, the Speaker of the Parliament, received and congratulated the Mongolian team members who participated in the 44th Chess Olympiad which was held in Chennai, India and led by E.Gurvanbaatar, the President of the Chess Federation.

In this 44th Chess Olympiad, the Mongolian women's team took 15th place out of 162 countries, and the men's team took 35th place out of 188 countries. A 17-year-old chess player B.Mungunzul won the 4th table and won Mongolia's first gold medal.

Furthermore, T.Munkhzul, member of the Mongolian national chess team and member of Kaissa chess club, fulfilled the third condition of the title of female grand master, becoming the seventh Mongolian player to receive the title of female grand master. The Speaker of the Parliament congratulated all chess players who participated in the Olympiad and wished them success.

G. Zandanshatar played chess with B.Mungunzul, the Champion of the Olympiad. B.Saranchimeg, Member of Parliament, and D.Lundeejantsan, advisor to the Speaker of the Parliament, attended in the meeting.
