O.Tsogtgerel elected as Chairman of Democratic Party

On August 31, 2025, the National Policy Committee of the Democratic Party held an extraordinary meeting to elect a new chairman. O.Tsogtgerel, Member of Parliament and Chairman of the Democratic Party Group in the Parliament, was elected as the party’s new Chairman.

Other candidates who contested for the position included B.Purevdorj, MP and Deputy Speaker of Parliament; J.Bayarmaa, MP; and B. Otgonbat, member of the National Policy Committee.
