Eight-day holiday for Naadam Festival on July 10–17

At its meeting held on June 4, 2025, the Cabinet decided to extend the National Naadam Festival holiday to eight days, from July 10 to 17, to allow the public to celebrate widely and support domestic tourism.

This year, July 12 and 13, which are official Naadam holidays, fall on a Saturday and Sunday. And in response to public requests, the Cabinet resolved to declare Wednesday and Thursday, July 16 and 17, as additional public holidays for all employees and civil servants.

The decision aims to promote work-life balance, foster wider celebration of the National Festival, and boost local tourism. According to the Law on Public Holidays and Anniversaries, July 10 to 15 are officially designated as public holidays for the Naadam Festival.
