Chairman of the Lower House of Ireland Seán Ó Fearghaíl visits Mongolia

At the invitation of Speaker of Parliament M. Enkhbold, Chairman of the Lower House of Ireland Seán Ó Fearghaíl is paying a visit to Mongolia from April 29 through May 1.

During the visit, Speaker M. Enkhbold and Chairman Seán Ó Fearghaíl will conduct an official meeting to exchange views on bilateral relations, inter-parliamentary cooperation, and other issues of mutual interest.

They are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding on cooperation between the Parliament of Mongolia and the Lower House of Ireland. Mr. Fearghaíl will also pay a courtesy call to President Kh. Battulga. Mongolia and the Republic of Ireland established diplomatic relations in 1998, and the visit coincides with the 20th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
