The “Car-Free Day 2026” event will be held on this Saturday, September 26, coinciding with the “Night Marathon Ulaanbaatar 2026” international night run. Authorities have announced changes to public transport routes and traffic arrangements for the day.
In particular, the section of road between the Baruun 4 Zam intersection and the Zuun 4 zam Intersection will be closed to motor vehicles from 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM on September 26.
The use of electric vehicles, including mopeds and scooters, will also be prohibited within the designated area during the closure period.
