A working group led by the Minister of Health is working in Selenge aimag.
The working group includes World Health Organization Representative in Mongolia Dr. Sergey Diorditsa, the NCCD Director D.Nyamkhuu, the NCZD Director N.Tsogbadrakh, Head of department at the Ministry of Health N.Gerelt-Od, Head of Department D.Narantuya and other officials.
At the Altanbulag border checkpoint in Selenge aimag, 155 confirmed cases of transporting into Mongolia were detected, of which 118 were citizens returning home and 37 were truck drivers.
It accounted for 43.6 percent of total transported cases in Mongolia. According to the analysis of truck drivers entering Mongolia through Altanbulag port of Selenge aimag, 14 cases have been confirmed in the last 15 days and six cases in the last six days.
Therefore, the Altanbulag free zone is temporarily closed. Today, some members of the State Emergency Commission will discuss with the relevant officials whether to close the Altanbulag port, according to a report of the Ministry of Health.
