Mongolian judokas win double medals at OTP Group Cadet World Championships 2025

The OTP Group Cadet World Championships 2025 are currently taking place in Sofia, Bulgaria, where Mongolian judokas secured two medals in the women’s -57 kg category.

In a remarkable performance, Tsendbazar Mashbat of the “Winner” club defeated Nonoka Yamakawa of Japan by yuko in regulation time to claim the gold medal.

Meanwhile, Enkhjin Gankhuyag of the “Jenko” club earned two yukos in regulation time against Ekaterina Zhdanova of IJF (Russia), securing the bronze medal.

The final results in the women’s -57 kg weight category at the OTP Group Cadet World Championships 2025 are as follows:

  • Gold: M.Tsendbazar (Mongolia)
  • Silver: N.Yamakawa (Japan)
  • Bronze: G.Enkhjin (Mongolia)
  • Bronze: M.Walega (Poland)
