N.Nomtoibayar: MPs, Ministers, and officials will not be invited to the Naadam main seat

The National Naadam Festival Organizing Committee held a meeting on April 17 to discuss preparations for this year's festival.

During the meeting, Deputy Prime Minister N.Nomtoibayar emphasized the need to prevent doping-related controversies in traditional wrestling.

"We must explore every possible way to prevent doping issues from arising again in wrestling. Mongolia currently does not have the necessary laboratory equipment, so samples must be sent abroad for analysis. As a result, test results are returned only after two to three weeks, which creates the main problem. The need to improve the system related to awards and titles granted under presidential decrees, saying the current process has caused public dissatisfaction. All tickets for this year's National Naadam Festival will be sold to the public.

"We will no longer reserve seats in the main grandstand for members of Parliament, ministers, and other government officials," he said.
