Yesterday, B.Bat-Erdene, the Minister of Environment and Tourism, and B.Oyunsanaa, the General Director of the Department of Forest Policy and Coordination at the Ministry of Environment and Tourism, and representatives of the professional organization of tree breeding, planted a total of eight types of trees together with school teachers and high school students of 127th secondary school located at Dari-Ekh, Bayanzurkh district, and handed them over to the school administration.
It was organized within the framework of “Billion Trees” national program which was initiated by U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, in order to reduce air, water and soil pollution by increasing the green facilities in the central areas.
However the 127th secondary school has a capacity of 640 students, more than two thousand students are studying currently.
