NaraBara to perform live in Ulaanbaatar

Born from the nightclubs and livehouses of Beijing, China, NaraBara is a musical collective blending the complex harmonies and intricate rhythms of jazz with the mystical storytelling and atmospheric qualities of Mongolian folk. Yider, the producer and vocalist, has enlisted keyboardist Asr, guitarist Suoty, and drummer Zhitong Xu to combine their years of technical craft in a soundscape rooted deeply in disciplined energy and textural layering.

We are thrilled to announce that NaraBara will bring the Ulaanbaatar - dedicated performance ”Sainu” at On’n Off Production House in Mongolia on the 16th of September,2023.

“Sainu,” which means “How are you?” in Mongolian, is the simplest yet kindest way to express care to another. Since our band formed, we have received tremendous support from our Mongolian listeners. Your heartwarming messages and instant appreciation of our music gave us confidence and strength in our belief that Music is Borderless. Music with a shared language is priceless.

We cherish this unique occasion to perform our full Mongolian album Hamt Zamin Hümüs (Companions) for the first time in a Mongolian-speaking region. “Sainu” also has a particular memorial position in our hearts. We have received generous musical gifts from Mongolia a long time ago. Several legendary Mongolian bands like Haranga and Altan Urga have inspired us since childhood. It is also our great pleasure to bring “Sainu” as a return gift to Mongolia and share a story of companionship, joy, and love through music with our musical family in Mongolia.

We can't wait to say Sainu to you in person. Hope to see you at On'n Off Production House. Let’s sing and dance to celebrate Mongolian music together in Ulaanbaatar! Tickets are available to purchase on https://shoppy.mn/products/sainu
