Mongolian film “Itgel” (The Faith) won the Audience Award of the Asian World Film Festival, held between October 24 and November 1 in Los Angeles. The Faith, directed by B.Garamkhand and The Mother, directed by B.Erdenetsetseg were premiered at the second AWFF.
The Faith delivers a message by telling about while there are people who would give up their conscience and dignity for wealth and luxury, there are also people who are still living in the streets keep their humaneness. The main role was played B.Amarsaikhan.
Bodlyn Hulgaich (Thief of Mind), also with the leading role by B.Amarsaikhan, won the Audience Award of the last year’s AWFF.
The AWFF 2016 attracted participants from 24 countries, including Mongolia, Armenia, Russia, Kazakhstan, Bangladesh, Japan and Vietnam.
