A.Ariunzaya, the Minister of Labor and Social Protection, held a meeting with Katie Smith, Australian Ambassador to Mongolia, and gave information about the policies and activities of Mongolia's labor and social protection sector and exchanged opinions.
During the meeting, two parties discussed the effective implementation of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of Mongolia and the Government of Australia on the implementation of work and holiday visa regulations.
The Ambassador emphasized that over 700 Mongolian young people were given an opportunity to study in Australia under the Australian scholarship program.
In addition, the Government of Australia supports the Government of Mongolia and implements the "Women in Executive Leadership Development" program. A.Ariunzaya expressed her gratitude for the fact that this program has made a significant contribution to the empowerment of women.
