As part of the preparations for the 17th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Convention to Combat Desertification (UNCCD COP17), ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions accredited to Mongolia visited the conference project site and received an official briefing on the progress of preparations on August 6.
The briefing was delivered by Minister of Environment and Climate Change Ts.Sandag-Ochir, who also serves as Chair of the National Organizing Committee for UNCCD COP17, Deputy Minister B.Munkhtamir, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs G.Amartuvshin, and other relevant officials.
During the visit, the officials updated the ambassadors on preparations for the conference and answered their questions.
