The MongolZ has secured a spot in the $50,000 (MNT 173.7 million) VALORANT Challengers 2025 Southeast Asia: Split 2, set to begin online on April 2.
After finishing 11th-12th in Split 1 earlier this year, the MongolZ advanced to the next round by defeating Thailand's Team NKT with a 2-1 victory (Haven 13-10, Ascent 7-13, Fracture 13-9) in the elimination round.
A total of 12 teams will compete in Split 2, with four teams advancing from Split 1's elimination round.
Teams participating in the three B-Tier VALORANT Challengers tournaments will accumulate points, with the top team earning a spot in the A-Tier "VCT Ascension Pacific" tournament.
If successful, The MongolZ could make history as the first Mongolian team to compete in an A-Tier VALORANT tournament.
