Currently, there are no public schools and kindergartens in the 26th and 36th khoroos of Bayanzurkh district. But there are 40,000 residents in these areas. Thus, works to release land and build a school with capital budget funds and a kindergarten with district budget funds are under progress.
In particular, 4,002 square meters of land has been released to build a school with a capacity of 640 children in the 36th khoroo of Bayanzurkh district on the northside of "Sumber Ord" town. Also, in the 26th khoroo of Bayanzurkh district, 4000 square meter land of "Century Landmark" LLC will be released and a kindergarten with 240 beds will be built.
Kh.Nyambaatar, Governor of the Capital city, reported, “As a result of large amounts of construction work in the last 30 years, many large residential buildings have been built in Ulaanbaatar city. One of the main causes of traffic congestion is going to school and work from those areas. Therefore, we are negotiating with enterprises to release land in areas with high population density, residential towns, and neighborhoods, and to increase schools and kindergartens. The enterprises that do not release their land will be regulated according to the General Administrative Law”.
The Mayor obliged the district administration and relevant officials to announce the bidding for schools and kindergartens to be built on released land, to negotiate with enterprises, to increase entrances and exits, and to solve the problems faced by the construction of schools and kindergartens that have already started construction.
