Fake 'Made in Mongolia' products will be banned

Fair Competition and Consumer Protection Agency is to cooperate with the Inner Mongolian Industry and Trade Administrative Bureau and is to stop the fake Made in Mongolia labeled products.

The sides have agreed on mutual trainings, promotion on consumer protection experiences, monitoring of the implementation of Competition laws, information sharing, mutual support, ensuring the coherent operation at ports on tightening the product control.

Main focus of this cooperation is ensuring that the consumers of both countries are protected against fake products and entities have equal business opportunities. 

According to the mutual cooperation Trade Administrative Bureau will work on complaints at their side and provide reliable information on the products on Mongolian market that might be misleading.

Trade Administrative Bureau works towards Fair trade, consumer protection, market regulation, food supply control, entity registration, monitoring of the products labeling and has 18 departments, which employ 11,000 employees.
