10 types of soil monoliths prevailing in Mongolia placed in museum

In the Natural history museum of Mongolia, 10 types of soil monoliths that are prevalent in Mongolia have been placed in the Geography-Geology chamber of the Natural history museum.

Soil science scientists from the Division of Soil Science of the Institute of Geography and Geoecology made 1m x 0.3m monoliths of 10 types of soil prevalent in Mongolia for the exhibition of the Natural History Museum of Mongolia.

The soil monolith is a realistic display of soil erosion in nature, and it has educational and cognitive significance as it realistically shows the stratification and morphological characteristics of soil in natural conditions.
