Today, The Mongolian freestyle wrestling team went to Tokyo, Japan to participate in the Olympics.
Mongolia has won four silver, five bronze and a total of nine medals in freestyle wrestling since its first participation in 1964 Tokyo Olympics.
Three male and six female wrestlers will participate in the Olympics. P.Gansukh is the captain of the Mongolian team, B.Batbayar and P.Buyandelger are the officials, B.Battulga is the head coach, Ts.Bayarsaikhan, A.Tsedensodnom and U.Uuganbayar and B.Batzorig are the coaches.

- Men's 57 kg: E.Bekhbayar: (Double World Cup bronze medal)
- 65 kg: T.Tulga: (Asian Junior and Under-23 Champion)
- 125 kg: M.Lkhagvagerel: (Bronze medal of the U-23 World Cup)
- Women's 50 kg: Ts.Namuuntsetseg: (Bronze medal at the Under-23 World Cup)
- 53 kg: B.Bolortuya: (World Cup Bronze medal)
- 57 kg: B.Khongorzul: (Bronze medalist of the Junior World Cup, Asian champion under 23)
- 62 kg: Kh.Bolortuya: (Silver medal at the Asian Championships for under-23s and adults)
- 68 kg: S.Battsetseg: (Olympic bronze, double gold, one silver and one bronze medal at the World Cup)
- 76 kg: O.Burmaa: (One silver and two bronze medals at the World Cup)
