The Government of Mongolia signed an agreement on social welfare with the Republic of Poland.
The social security agreement was signed by Minister of Labor and Social Welfare of Mongolia S. Chinzorig and Minister of Family, Labour and Social Policy Elżbieta Rafalska on January 24.
Regarding the agreement, Minister S. Chinzorig said, “Pensions, senior pensions, disability pensions, and survivor’s pensions, can be issued based on when a working individual began paying social insurance, in both Mongolia and Poland. An individual can receive a pension from Mongolia if he or she paid insurance in Mongolia, and can be granted a pension from Poland if the individual paid insurance in Poland.
The Polish minister said, “It took us a lot of effort, as well as time, to reach an agreement on this. The measures enable people who work in Poland to get their pensions, and supports all working people in enjoying their rights.”
