Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid state visit to Mongolia for the first time during May 16-17. He was welcomed by the Prime Minister of Mongolia Ch.Saikhanbileg at Chinggis Square and held meetings with the President and Speaker of the Parliament. Moreover, he addressed at the session of the State Great Khural.
PM Modi gave much importance to his visit to Mongolia and he warmly greeted with Mongolian Government officials and Mongolians by addressing at the State Great Khural and said "I bring the greetings of your 1.25 billion spiritual neighbours."
During the visit, over ten agreements to cooperate on culture, education, health, renewable energy and information technology sectors were signed between the two sides.
Decision to provide one billion U.S. dollars credit line became boom among our citizens and the media.
