Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar reported that the 25th, 26th, 16th and 8th khoroos of Bayanzurkh district will be retested due to being considered as high risk areas.
“One door-One test” operation started February 11 and finished on February 22. The last day was operated in Bayanzurkh district with a busy schedule, and the lockdown cancels and business operations will run from February 23.
Governor of Bayanzurkh district N.Bayarmunkh said, “Yesterday, 52,000 people were tested. Due to the workload at the laboratory, samples from 13,000 people were tested by the Ulaanbaatar Health Department”.
Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar D.Sumiyabazar said “We have taken control of the outbreak in Ulaanbaatar. If the situation worsens in high-risk areas, partial measures will be taken. Citizens and businesses should follow the rules and regulations on infection control regime. However, the capital city and district administrations should not directly terminate the licenses of business entities. In difficult situations, we must provide advice and fulfill our state responsibilities”.
