On July 30, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports, Ts.Tsogzolmaa received Governor of Shizuoka prefecture of Japan, Heita Kawakatsu. During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on strengthening bilateral relations in education, culture and sports. Minister Ts.Tsogzolmaa emphasized that cooperation between Mongolia and Japan has increased due to the tangible contribution of Shizuoka prefecture.
Sports teams from both nations completed joint judo, boxing, athletics, and freestyle wrestling trainings in four cities in Shizuoka prefecture. A bilateral high-school student exchange program is being implemented, as well.
