On July 5, the Parliamentary session was held and 103 out of the 104 members who participated in the session voted for re-appointing the current Prime Minister L.Oyun-Erdene. Ch.Lodoisambuu was the only member who didn’t support.
According to the results of the 2024 regular elections of the Parliament, the Mongolian People’s Party, which won the majority of seats in the Parliament, nominated Oyun-Erdene Luvsannamsrai for the Prime Minister of Mongolia and submitted it to U.Khurelsukh, the President of Mongolia, on July 5, 2024, and it was discussed and approved by the Parliamentary session.
L.Oyun-Erdene, who was reappointed as the Prime Minister of Mongolia, said, “We have started a lot of work, but major projects have not been completed due to interests and politicization. We need to urgently solve the issue of liberalization of the energy sector”.
