G.Ganbayar, Deputy Minister of Education and Science, held a meeting with representatives of the Mars Society on June 23. At the beginning of the meeting, the Deputy Minister thanked the project team for allowing Mongolian children and youth to read the book “Case for Mars” by Dr. Robert Zubrin, the President of Mars Society, and stressed the importance of the project in making children and youth interested in science.
The representatives of the Mars Society emphasized that the Gobi Desert is similar to Mars, making it ideal for experiments and research. They teach 12-15 year olds about space through science.

“Mars V” project was launched with the aim of establishing a space training and research science park to develop special interest tourism in the Mongolian Gobi. The project team proposed to introduce a program to provide children with space and science knowledge in the future.
